The Pirovano Skiing School, during the summer/autumn 2010, offers courses of different levels, suitable for everyone, from the absolute beginner to the expert skier who wants to improve their technique and style as much as possible.

THE PIROVANO SKIING COURSES

Beginners Course (Bronze Level)

Learn from scratch, or almost, to control your speed and acquire the basics of changing direction. At the end of the course, the participants will be able to face slopes of medium/easy difficulty with confidence (Blue and Red).

Middle Course (Silver Level)

The specialization and acquisition of the necessary techniques to make curves with parallel skis and carving skiing.
The different Stelvio Pass ski slopes are ideal for this type of course and guarantee the results.

Advanced course (Gold level)

The specialization and improvement of technique and style in carving. Training both on a free snowfield and with different types of posts (dwarf, slalom, giant etc.).
With this advanced course, modern downhill skiing will no longer have any secrets for you!

Notes on courses:

• The courses listed are collective and held for a minimum of 3 to a maximum of 10 people per class.

• The minimum age to take part in the collective courses is 8, excluding the “special family” weeks (13/06 – 31/07/10), when specific group courses are held for children from 5 years of age.

• According to the conditions of the snow on the glacier, the lessons can be held for two hours in the morning and two in the afternoon, or four hours all in the morning.

• On request, according to special requirements and objectives, individual or personalized lessons can always be held (minimum 2 hours a day).

Ski School Programme for 5 days

Monday	Selection of pupils and formation of the different classes (groups) according to level.
Tuesday	Practical lessons and video shooting on a free snowfield. At the end of the lesson, meeting with the instructors for the commented film screening of pupils in the different classes.
Wednesday	Practical lessons and video shooting, with technical comment by the instructor, slalom sessions between dwarf posts for the Silver and Gold levels. For the beginners, video shooting on a free snowfield. At the end of the lessons screening of the film in the video room.
Thursday	Practical lessons and video shooting, with technical comment by the instructor, of the giant slalom sessions for the Silver and Gold levels.
Friday	Last teaching sessions and end of course race for all the groups of the week with video shooting. Followed by awards.

n.b.: for 6 days in ski school, lessons will end Saturday.
