The many paths that cross the impressive Alpine landscape are ideal for Mountain Bike fans as well as for excursions on foot.
Pedalling in the saddle of your bike at high altitudes requires good physical training and an equally good knowledge of basic techniques.

From the Stelvio Pass, many places of historical and tourist interest and for leisure, offering countless facilities and entertainment, can easily be reached:

  • Bormio: known over the centuries as “the magnificent Earth”, it is only 20 minutes away by car from the Stelvio Pass and offers many opportunities for leisure and relaxation: you can play golf in a particularly picturesque setting, relax in the age-old baths of the Bagni Vecchi dating back to Roman times or, take advantage of the fantastic recently-built Spa for a day of thermal spa treatments and total well-being.

  • Livigno: easily reached from the Stelvio Pass, it needs no introduction: a compulsory destination for fans of quality shopping, Livigno is tax-free therefore the prices in the many shops are very advantageous.

  • Glorenza: in the province of Bolzano, is only 50 minutes by car away from the Stelvio Pass and is a marvellous medieval town, better known as the “Carcassonne of the Alps”. Visiting Castel Coira, you can also admire the most important private collection of medieval armour in Europe.
